Wisbech prepare for momentous first-ever season for Fenland Citizen

Wisbech Cricket Club is set to play in the East Anglian Premier League for the first time in their history. The club has been preparing for this historic season since securing promotion in September by defeating Fakenham in the play-off final. Skipper James Williams, who is about to lead the club for the fourth successive season believes he has built a strong squad which he intends to keep mostly unchanged.

The club has been busy in the winter, preparing for the season, organising caterers for the games, searching for new sponsors, and organising live-streams for their games. The club has signed George Bruce and Ryan Clark to strengthen the squad.
The East Anglian Premier League includes teams from Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.
